Welcome to Cutie Poops and Bottoms!  My name is Sherri Edwards and I am the owner of this store.  The idea to open a cloth diaper store started when I was doing my own on-line research into the world of cloth diapers.  I was expecting twins and was nervous about the high costs of disposable diapers.

One of the things I noticed was that there was nowhere for a mom like myself to go.  I hated having to order everything online.  Sure, it was convenient, but I wanted to see and feel the diapers first-hand.  I wanted to know what I was getting before I bought it, and I wanted help!  I was sick of spending endless hours online.

After my boys arrived, I started using cloth diapers and I loved it!  I told everyone I knew about them.  So many people really had no idea how easy modern cloth diapering could be.  Many times they immediately thought of pins, soaking, dunking, swishing, and the poop....ohh the poop!  With easy to clean micro-fleece, bio-liners, and diaper sprayers, that was all in the past.

Word got around and then the phone rang! Brian Potter, a local business owner and earth conscious individual agreed to be my partner.  He liked the idea that with cloth diapering, you could go green..without spending a lot of green! He also couldn't stand the fact that over 52 million disposable diapers end up in our landfills EVERY DAY!

A few months later, Cutie Poops and Bottoms was born!  We are still a small store, and Brian and I are in the store almost every day.  I know many of my customers (by face, if not name) and appreciate that they keep coming back to my store.  I spend a lot of time trying to help personally guide prospective cloth diapering parents through the world of cloth and truly feel that by having a brick and mortar store...more parents are deciding to go cloth!
