Little-to-Big Beetle Merino Wool Jersey Cover is hand made in the US from scrumptiously soft, fashion grade Organic Wool Jersey (wool is certified under NOP/USDA). Elegance in a turned and top-stitched design. These covers provide a great natural cloth diaper cover option. These are designed to best fit over Little Beetle diapers or a similar trim low rise diaper. They also work well with most prefolds.
Since this is a wool cover, it needs to be lanolized before use.

How to Lanolize Wool
You will need: cover or longies, baby wash or wool wash, and liquid or solid lanolin
Step 1: You will need to boil 1 cup of water. While that is boiling, in lukewarm water wash your wool with a few drops of wool wash or baby wash. If you have a wool wash bar, lather and rub into wool. Drain and remove wool.
Step 2: To the cup of hot water add 1 teaspoon-1 tablespoon of lanolin and a few drops of wool wash or baby wash. Mix until it dissolves and turns a white milky color.
Step 3: Fill your sink with warm water and add the lanolin mixture you made in Step 3. Mix it around.
Step 4: Now it is time to add your wool. Turn your wool inside out and place into water. Rub the wool under the water for a couple minutes, so the lanolin is absorbed. Then soak. You should leave it to soak for at least 15 minutes, up to overnight. (The longer it soaks, the more lanolin is absorbed.)
Step 5: Drain the sink and squeeze out your cover. You want to try and get as much water out as you can. You could also do a SPIN ONLY cycle on your washing machine, if you have it.
Step 6: Place your wool between two towels and roll it up like a jelly roll. Press down and remove any excess water. Lay flat to dry. Make sure you turn your wool everyonce in a while to dry faster.
You have now lanolized your wool. Remember, you do not have to do this every time you wear them. Just simply turn them inside out to dry after every use.
If you get a spot on your wool, use your wool wash bar to spot clean and let dry. You could even spray that spot with lanolin spray to get you by, until you have to lanolize again.
