Special Events & Monthly Meetings

If you are a nursing mom who is struggling, has questions, or just needs some support then come to one of our monthly La Leche League Meetings. LLL leaders are here to help answer your questions and make nursing a memorable, easy experience for you and your child.

All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be who are interested in breastfeeding are welcome at our meetings. There is no fee, and babies are always welcome.

LLL meets monthly on the third Tuesday every month from 12:00-1:45 ***

Are you a cloth diapering mom, or thinking about making the switch? Are you expecting and wondering about cloth diapering your child? Mom's night out is a monthly cloth diaper meeting followed by social time.  It is a great way to meet other local cloth diapering moms and get your questions answered, learn new tricks from seasoned cloth diapering moms, and get support.

Mom's Night out is currently ON HOLD. We are working on bringing it back with planned speakers and events.  Watch for an announcement on our facebook page, website, and email notifications!

Vaccines are a hot topic and, until recently, the information on them has been very one sided.  The standard Pro-vaccination argument is "vaccines have saved millions of lives" BUT, there is a dark side to all vaccines.  A new concept called "informed consent" arms people with ALL of the information needed before deciding to vaccinate.

This will be the class for you.  Come join us for our Wool 101 class and learn all about the benefits of wool, how to care for wool, and how to lanolize your wool. 

Wool is also great in the summer.  It is more breathable than a regular PUL cover.

This class will include a full demonstration on how to lanolize your wool.
